Healthy Snacks For Kids

Summer time is only around the corner – it is a great time for getting creative with the children’s snacks!

Here a few healthy snacks for youngsters that are great for hot, sunny days:

Cool Summer Fruit Popsicles

What you may need:

1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
1 peach, diced
1/2 watermelon, pureed
1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1 handful fresh cherries, pitted and chopped

Prepare endless weeks of frustration popsicle molds then divide the cut fruits to fill each mold. Pour watermelon puree to every single popsicle mold, filling to # 1. Place a popsicle stick into every one and freeze not less than 6 to 8 hours, or until able to serve.

For easy serving, run each one of the frozen molds under domestic hot water for a few seconds before pulling out for the children to enjoy!

Sweet N Healthy Granola Bars

What you will need:

1 1/2 cups almonds
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup chocolate chips (preferably sugar-free)
2/3 cups pistachios
1/3 cup Sukrin Clear Fiber Syrup
1/4 cup hemp seeds, chopped and cooked
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, chopped and cooked
1/4 cup sunflower seeds, chopped and cooked
3 tablespoons Sukrin Gold
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/2 teaspoon salt

Melt the butter in the saucepan start being active . the Sukrin syrup, Sukrin Gold, ground cinnamon, vanilla flavor and salt. Stir together thoroughly. Boil for 2-3 minutes until mixture has thickened. Stir inside nuts and cooked seeds, stirring to coat with mixture.

Remove from heat and set mixture in the 9×3 baking dish lined with parchment paper. Place another parchment paper on the top and press to spread a combination evenly for the baking dish. Cool for 10-15 minutes then refrigerate for 15. Slice into bars then refrigerate for the next 15 minutes.

Store granola bars within an airtight container.

Easy Apple Cookies

What you would like:

1 apple (green or red)
2 tablespoons peanut butter
Mini chocolate chips (preferably sugar-free)

Core the apple and slice into “circles”. Spread peanut butter on the top of each apple slice then sprinkle with chocolate chips. Do this for every single apple slice. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes before serving for youngsters to enjoy read more about a hot sunny day!
